- What does Boval Engineering do?
- Boval Engineering is a precision metal engineering specialist based in Penrith, NSW. We deliver end-to-end manufacturing — laser cutting, CNC bending, turret punching, welding, metal spinning, powder coating, assembly and design — all under one roof. We've been operating since 1959 and are 100% Australian owned.
- Where is Boval Engineering located?
- We're located at 13 Coombes Drive, Penrith NSW, in Western Sydney. Our 3,800 sqm facility houses production, materials store, manufacturing, fabrication and powder coating operations.
- What materials and thicknesses can you cut?
- Our 12kW fibre laser cuts mild steel up to 50mm, plus stainless steel and aluminium. CNC bending is up to 3,100mm long at 135-tonne capacity, and metal spinning up to 800mm diameter and 4mm thick.
- Do you offer powder coating in-house?
- Yes — Powder Coating & Finishing operates in-house at our Penrith facility. The conveyorised line handles parts up to 770×1300×2700mm with 3-stage pre-treatment, and a batch oven handles parts up to 1700×2700×3200mm.
- Which industries does Boval serve?
- Defence and aerospace, rail and transport, medical and electronics, mining and resources, agriculture and renewable energy, architecture and construction, food and beverage, telecommunications, switchboards, hospitality, lighting and custom industrial manufacturing.
- Are you ISO certified?
- Yes. Boval Engineering is certified to AS/NZS ISO 9001 for quality management, and we are progressing toward AS/NZS ISO 45001 certification for Occupational Health & Safety. Our safety systems comply with all national and state WHS regulations.
- Do you handle prototypes and one-off jobs?
- Yes. We support customers from prototype through to repeat production runs. Our SOLIDWORKS® powered design team can take you from concept and reverse engineering to finished part.
